The Local Area
Rosedale Cottages is situated on the picturesque North Yorkshire Coast. Just a few miles from the town of Whitby and with a selection of other small towns and villages nearby this is the perfect place from which to explore this part of the country.
Some of the available activities nearby:
- Whitby Golf Course - open to non-members. Pre-booking advisable on 01947 602719.
- Borrowby Equestrian Centre - 30 min/1 and 2 hour treks. Day, picnic and pub rides. Pre-booking advisable on 01947 840134.
- Whitby and Loftus Leisure Centres - both with swimming pools.
- Sea Fishing - numerous boats and trip durations available from Whitby.
- Surfing - Saltburn - full hire of boards, wet suits etc and tuition available. 01287 625321.
- Beaches - mile upon mile of beach can be found at Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. All only a short journey away.
